The manufacturer that sold the most vehicles per day in 2023 is Toyota. The company sold nearly 2 million vehicles in 2023 for an average of 5,282 cars per day. Some of the most popular Toyota models include the Camry, 4Runner, Corolla, Prius, and RAV4. Toyota was founded in 1937 and is currently headquartered in Toyota, Aichi in Japan.
Second on the list is Ford with 5,176 vehicles sold per day. The American vehicle manufacturer’s most popular models include the Explorer, Mustang, Bronco, Escape, F-150, and Focus. Ford was founded in 1903 by Henry Ford in Dearborn, Michigan. In addition to its main models, the Ford Motor Company also owns Volvo, Jaguar, Aston Martin, and Land Rover.
Coming in third is Chevrolet. The manufacturer sold nearly 1.7 million vehicles in 2023, for an average of 4,655 vehicles per day. Some of Chevrolet’s most popular models are the Suburban, Equinox, Silverado, and Corvette.
The fourth manufacturer on the list is Honda at 3,185 vehicles per day. Honda’s most popular vehicle models are the Civic, Accord, CR-V, and Pilot. Honda was founded in 1946 in Hamamatsu, Japan but is currently headquartered in Tokyo.
