Video games are one medium that continue to evolve, and they become more impressive as time goes on. It was back in the 1970s when we were introduced to Pong, which actually was its own console! Fast forward to today, and there are several different home consoles, as well as a whole world of PC gaming that has proved to be amazing.
One aspect of gaming that has seen some unique evolution is its notable characters. This infographic from Playground Equipment takes a look at the in-game evolution of 20 notable characters from the world of gaming over time, dating as far back as Donkey Kong who debuted in the arcades in 1981.
