We’re a couple of months away from the launch of Disney+, Disney’s streaming video on-demand service. At just $6.99 per month (or $13 for a Disney+, ESPN+, and ad-supported Hulu bundle), it seems like it will be an affordable option for those looking to cut the cable cord (or just looking to expand their entertainment options).
The most exciting news to come out of the Disney+ announcement of is the promise of new, exclusive content. Star Wars fanatics are already buzzing about The Mandalorian, the franchise’s first live action TV series, and there are several Marvel original shows (like The Falcon and the Winter Soldier) that are set to debut within the first year. Disney+ will also have some original reality shows, including Encore! hosted by Kristen Bell for the theater geeks and Be Our Chef hosted by Angela Kinsey for the foodies.
