The Marvel Universe has a huge catalog full of old titles, retcons, special issues, and crossover events, making it hard for new fans to enter into regular readership. The point of reboots and retcons is to provide an access point for new readers to jump on board with a fresh start, but maybe you want to start reading today. We never know when the next reboot is coming.
