We’ve all been there: You sit down to watch a Netflix movie with a partner or friend, and before you know it, you’ve spent an hour sifting through selections and previewing trailers.
Choosing what to watch can be surprisingly difficult, especially if you don’t have a preference for genre or length (or worse, you’re trying to accommodate multiple requests from your couch buddies).
When in doubt, look for viewer recommendations. And we’ve got 10 right here to stop the doomscrolling! These are the best non-documentary movies on Netflix, made by Netflix, based on Rotten Tomatoes’ audience score, also called the “Popcornmeter.”
(Just for fun, you can also compare these top films by audience sentiment to their “Tomatometer” ratings, or what critics have to say about them.)
